Participation Bases
II IWS Spain FESTIVAL
All national and foreign artists over 18 can participate.
The technique is watercolor executed in at least 90%.
The works must be original, copies of other artists will not be accepted. A qualifying jury will be in charge of making the selection of the works that will participate in the festival.
The theme is free, each participant can only present one work.
The maximum measure 56x38cm or 38×56 cm.
Participants will send the photograph of their work in jpg format and minimum resolution 2Mb to the IWS Spain email iws.spain.info@gmail.com. A catalog will be published.
By not having an agreed insurance policy, IWS Spain is not responsible for any damage, loss or damage that the works may suffer due to causes beyond their control.
The photograph of the work must include the Country_Author_Titulo_measurement.
The participation fee is 80 euros to cover the costs of framing, catalog and assembly of the exhibition. The fee will only be paid if selected.
Participation can be made free by the artist or through the leader of each country. The leader who presents his group will be invited to the participation fee.
Dates: sending photographs of the works before March 20, 2020 to the email iws.spain.info@gmail.com.
The list of participants will be published on social networks and communicated via email to those selected, as well as the address and instructions for sending.
The festival will be held in Madrid. The exhibition can be visited in the Exhibition Hall of the House of Cantabria in Madrid, from June 16 to 30, 2020.
The official opening will take place on June 20. The activities of the festival will take place during the days 19, 20 and 21 at the Casa de Cantabria in Madrid.
The festival will be extended on June 22, 23 and 24 with a few days of plenary session where we will visit three cities near Madrid: Toledo, Ávila and Segovia, details that we will publish in the full program of the festival.
